Is there such a thing? Wife wants to go out bow hunting with me. I guess we could just put two climbers in the same tree.

probably the 2 things you could do is find 2 trees close enough you can put one in each. OR you can just buy a two man ladder stand and put that up. lugging 2 climbers would be about the same as a two man ladder stand, but you have to put it up a day or two prior to your hunt.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've got about a gazzillion places to hunt, so the ladder stand is really not an option. Also, in the timbers I hunt, I have enough trouble finding one good tree, let alone two!

Since you're in Iowa you should be able to find a relatively flat place to hunt when you take her so get you one of the little pop up blinds that big enough for two people .

A frind of mine took his son out on youth weekend and he used two climbers in the same tree. He said that it worked fine. Sounds like a good solution if you are having trouble finding a decent tree. He sat above, but it might work better to sit below where you could reach up an tap the stand above you when yo spot the big one.

I'm mainly talking for bow hunting here, and bow hunting from the ground is not preferred by me.

Two person CLIMBING TREE STAND? no offense meant, but that sounds to me like the making for a hilariously funny emergency room story ;D ;D ;D or a good Jeff Foxworthy joke.

Bad enough when I had to take my children, but the wife forget it she would sit and talk all the time and ask WHY, her favorite word. If I say it has to be done this way I get WHY all the time. Been married 48 years couldn't live w/o her. but hunting I can. Lou

A guy I work with ended up suspended upside down with the ground just out of reach of his hands and firmly stuck when his climber let go. Thankfully, he was able to call his wife on his cell and she eventually was able to make it out and get him down. He now ties is safety harness in all the way up and all the way down!

I have taken my daughter with me bow hunting and we use a 2 person ground blind for 20 yard shots. The trick is to brush it in and the deer will pay it no attention. Mike

I would use 2 lock-on's with one set of climbing sticks. Should be able to find them light enough to pack it all around. The lighter ones are aluminum and cost more but should be cheaper than 2 climbers.
