The laser rangefinder/riflescope is basically the same chassis that Bushnell, Nikon and Burris sell. As with most sports laser rangefinders they share the same internals. The company that makes the internals is Laser Technologies Inc. (of course they are actually made in Japan or somewhere over there). The units are mostly assembled in Japan by the same people that brings us all the rifle scopes with slight changes in optics and cases. And of course the name is changed to protect the innocent.
The exception to the rule is the higher end Zeiss and Leica, The lower end Zeiss 8X26 rangefinder is Japanese made while the higher end is made by Leica. There is some rumors and bits of intel that the Leica systems are actually built or components are made by a company called Vectronix which until 2003 was part of Leica but spun off.
