DNZ says they don't have a mount that will work on the Savage ML10 and Omega. I tried to get one. The spacing of the Omega is too short for the DNZ.

I called DNZ, and they sent me a pic of their Savage one piece mount. I compared where the base screws related to the scope rings, then against the scope I wanted to use, to see where the rings would hit the scope. The tech guy can tell you if they have tried their mounts with a particular scope. He said they had NOT worked out a mount with the Omega, and I didn't ask about other models.

I have a couple of their mounts on different rifles and can't say enough about them, they are really nice mounts.

Giving this thread a bump.
I got me a Nikon Omega for the Sav.ML2. I currently have DNZ 1 pc.mount on it and yes-it did seem bit too short, though I may stll try to mount and see how it fits. Does anyone here have Omega on their Savage and if so,what were your experience with it? What mount you've used? Thanks! olegburn

I have an Omega on one of my 50s. Weaver bases and Grand Slam rings. So far, so good. You will need either an extended base, or rings to fit the short Omega. It has fab eye relief! Boarhog
