While target shooting my Safari Magnum #175 in the back yard this past week. Pulled the trigger and the right limb failed at the point where the limb meets the metal riser. The glass limb had two splits running to the cam. The cam did not come loose, stayed attached to limb. Fortunately I was not hurt, Unfortunately I will miss the beginning of the Ohio archery season. This bow had less then 200 shots. I apologize for not taking pictures.
I phoned Parker, and sent the xbow in for service. Tech was pleasant & very easy to talk to.

:)Sorry about that. Do you have a back-up x-bow or v-bow? Fortunately, mine has survived >1000 shots, a lot more. What wt arrows do you shoot(did you shoot )?

That's a real bummer. How long do they expect repairs to take? Hope they get it back to you soon! Have a great day! Dave

Sorry about the slow reply to questions. Yes I have a backup Excaliber Exocet, I did get it ready to use. I shoot 430 gr arrows in my xbows. I was very pleased with the super quick service and shipping from Parker service in VA. From the day I shipped it to the time I had it in my hands again was 7 days. Parker replaced both limbs and string; great service! Here's the results of the Parker from last week. Shot was 30 yards from the back door.

Same thing happend to me with a good ending also. My Exomax limb splintered on me three days before archery season and got it back 7 days after I shipped it to Ohio. Not too bad considering shipping time. In the meantime I bought a used Martin Cheetah from a nearby pawn shop and promptly began shooting it as I was NOT going to miss opening day. I liked it so much that I sold it and bought a brand new Cheetah and have been hunting with it ever since. I didn't know that an old man with a bad shoulder and neck could still shoot a compound but these new ones are leagues apart from what they were even 10 yrs ago.
Nice buck Swede!
