Howdy all, Years ago I bought a tool that goes over the end of your ramrod and when you are seating your load it has a spring in it that pushes up a small pin and touches your thumb when you get to a certain pressure, it's for a consitant loading pressure everytime. It's about 5" long black and knurled and the piece that goes over the ramrod is brass. Any way anybody have any idea who made this or do they still make them. Thx Killit

After second thought, I do not know how well that would perform Kevin pushing a .458 bullet down a fouled barrel on a late Dec. hunt......

i am not sure Rick i just figured something else to carry so i didn't bother plus it looks kinda cheap we probably have more loading pressure then them also using smokeless over blackpowder so i bet your right. kevin k

I love gadgets, but, like Tar12, I can't imagine it would work because we can't achieve a reliably smooth and constant pushing pressure.

after thinking about it you would probably have to lighty seat the bullet first put that on top and then seat it i would assume but you know what assuming does

Yes I know how to spell assume. But I would be willing to buy one if tyhe loading pressure was adjustable. I know that when I load I'm way above what is axceptale (spelling bad) for bp Jon

Richard, I am unable to locate spell check. Could you be more specific? Nothing shows up at the bottom on mine.

When you reply to a post use the reply link that is located on the bottom right of the post instead of the quick reply box. It gives you many more options in what you can do in your post. At the bottom of this reply box you will see a box labeled spell check.

Ozark, Thank you I never could find spell check either. I was always used the quick reply. After Richard I got daring I AM not what you would computer literate I found if I hit the reply button I come up with spell check. Now I feel better I'm not alone in this world. And thank you for all the great input into this board. Jon
