I have two scopes that I would like to get refinished. The bluing has burned off on the underside. From my old muzzleloading days before we had rifles like we do now. I am looking for someone who can refinish them. It would be nice to get the rings to match the finish.

I have never heard of refinishing scoped. Seen a few that have been camoflaged with paint and with tape. If the tube is steel (Check with magnet) you might improve its looks using cold blueing. It certainly could not handle the hot bluing process.

I would look at some of the spray paints that Brownell's sells. Obviously, not the "oven cure" ones! Richard

I did some more research and found that Spradlins will refinish a Leupold scope and the warranty will still be honored by Leupold.
