I broke my bench two nights ago trying to get a stuck .308 case free . Any how going on a hunt in three weeks and needed to get up and running. I designed this last night, picked up the lumber on the way home and this is the final project. Finally, a layout that works the way I reload. Looks like I may still bolt it to the wall, but it seems to be really stable. Next pic to follow. [/img]

Jims..I am going to WY in mid Sept. and taking my two boys for their first rifle/deer hunting trip. The oldest went as an observer a few years back on a Boar hunt in TX, but this will be their first attempt with a rifle. Limiting shots to 200 yards for the oldest and 100 yards for the youngest (he just cant quite get his groups below 4 inches at 100 yards). Both are using a 243 (savage, and Rossi) that are capable of MOA groups. That Rossi took alot of loads to get down to MOA. (85g Sierra Gameking over 38 grains of IMR 4064). New off the bench I could not get below a 14 inch (NOT 1.4, 14inch) group at 100 yards with Walmart Winchester 100g rounds. Too heavy (long) for the Rossi to stabalize. Wish us luck!
