A few years ago someone posted about getting a new barrel for his Nula Muzzle Loader . Are there any gunsmiths that can replace a barrel ? Thanks for your help . Chris

I am not sure of the current status of NULA. If still in operation could they do it for you. I thought they would only do a barrel that used sabots and not a bore rider but that may be incorrect. I have a .50, thought they built some .45s.

Melvin sold the centerfire rifle business to Daniel Defense before he passed earlier this year . There is however a group of his workers that are still operating in his old shop in West Virginia . I'm going to give them a call tomorrow . You are correct in that he would only do .50s after about 2005 or so .

It seems to have developed a bulge in the barrel . Also I have developed some blow back from the primer pocket . I'm sure it can be straightened out .
