Wondering if anyone out there knows of a company that sells TSS shot to be used in a muzzleloader? Not interested in pre loaded shotgun shells, this is a front-stuffer.
From what I have read the big difference in the shot beside the price is that the pellet material is substantially heaver and smaller in. diameter than steel or lead pellets. But wouldn't that translate into a major increase of the recoil when shooting the TSS load. Would a 2 oz. load of #6 lead shot weigh a lot less when using the same volume of #9 TSS. The gun has plenty of recoil already, not sure I need any more. Thanks for any replies. BOB

I’ve posted quite of bit info on MML site. Been using TSS for years now in my TK2000. A good source ( and where I get mine) is TripleB Metals. Look on FB. Brent Merryman. I use BPI TPS#46 wad-#9 18gm 1 1/2 oz- 14gr buffer & cork or felt 20ga wads as fillers.

I mentioned above. TRIPLE B METALS. Brent Merryman. Last I bought $35 lb. Won’t need 2 oz payload. 1 1/2 oz is plenty.
