I have 8lb+ of SR4759 on hand and only use it in my 50 cal Savage ML2. I’ve had a 45 cal Buckwacka from Millenium Designed Muzzleloaders I haven’t shot in years (since getting the Savage) so I want to use it again.
The Buckwacka has a modern barrel designed for modern rifle pressures. It is rated to shoot 200g of pellets shooting bullets 200g and under. I used to shoot 200g of Pyrodex pellets under the 195g Barnes at 2,850 fps.
Well I want to shoot smokeless powder in it. Since I have the SR4759 on hand, I’d like to try using it. I ordered the light blue Harvester sabots and have 195g Barnes to test. Would like to find an accurate load around 2,400 fps.
What charge weight would you suggest I start with? I’m thinking 35g but would appreciate your thoughts and experiences.

Why would you even suggest using smokeless powder in a black powder muzzle-loader?
The Buckwacka is a muzzleloading rifle designed by Millennium Designed Muzzleloaders (MDM). It is a .45 caliber black powder rifle with a stainless steel barrel and action, and a Mossy Oak Breakup stock 1. The Buckwacka is based on the break-open action of the H&R rifles and shotguns, which makes it simple to operate 1. It has a 25-inch stainless steel barrel and takes a 209 shotgun primer that slips directly into the breech plug 1. The Buckwacka has a maximum load of 150 grains of black powder or Pyrodex, according to the paperwork that came with the rifle 1. The same model now has a maximum load of 200 grains while the .50 calibers are still at 150 grains of black powder or Pyrodex 1.

DON'T DO IT! Sell it and forget it you could die if you tried it.

I purchased this muzzleloader new so I'm familiar with the specs. I know the 200g powder rating when using bullets 200g or less. I know the barrel is rated for modern smokeless rifle pressures.
I appreciate your concerns about safety...really I do. Could you be more specific about your concerns? Are you thinking the breech plug is a problem? Or is it the break open action?
Appreciate your thoughts.
