It has been several years since I owned one of these. My thoughts would be to remove the screw that holds the bolt in place and see if it is flattened out causing the bolt to bind. You might see if the bolt will close easier with the bolt guide screw backed out slightly.

Slowr1der When some of us got a new 10ML-II we noticed the bolt handle catching the receiver at the entrance when we tried to close it. We remedy that by rounding the edge where the bolt contacted the receiver. There should also be no contact with the stock.

We have to ML2s that are the same way. We are able to push inward when closing to keep it front catching.

You might want to do the same with the stock both sides and grease it there where it metal locks. And you might check the breech plug to see if it is tight. I use the white pipe tape on mine. I would bet it needs a good cleaning too. I would put the socketed carbide breech plug in so you do not need the remove the screws. And you can touch up the bluing when cleaning it too.

It seems like for this one to miss the receiver, a fair amount would have to come off. Which makes me hesitant. The seller I bought it from has agreed to take it back since this wasn't mentioned. I think that's going to be my best course of action. I'll just have to start the search over for another one.

I’ve tried, albeit unsuccessfully, to send a PM. Will you try on your end? I may have a viable solution.

Is the breech plug in all of the way? Or is the rear screw too tight that is binding the bolt from locking?
