I have a T/C .54 cal Stainless ML. 120 gr gun. Musket cap nipple. No breech plug in these guns. This is my 1st ML bought in 1998. Shoots awesome with real BP and short bullets due to 1:38 rifling. the Barnes .50 cal 275 gr copper HP in a 54/50 sabot and 100 gr FFFg shoots 1 1/2" groups at 100 yds. But I digress, Welcome to the board.

Hello All, I am a long-time hunter/shooter/reloader and have just built a converted Paramount rifle with a Brux 1-15 barrel in .40 cal. I would love to hear from anyone who could share load advice and experiences as I develop loads with 250-300 g high BC projectiles with long distance capabilities. I have had a good bit of experience with the .50's and .45's, but this is my first venture with a .40. I am assuming some rifles like wads and that will have to be determined at the range. I would prefer not to have to deal with duplex loads in the field but realize that is a possibility if a single powder/bullet combo proves difficult to find. Thanks in advance for any and all assistance, this looks like a great place to get acquainted with folks that love the same things I do, Gary

It's exciting to hear you've been involved in muzzleloading since the early days of T/C's advancements and are now venturing into the realm of Arrowhead Smokeless. It's clear you have a wealth of experience and a healthy thirst for knowledge, which are both highly valued in any community.

The official Arrowhead Rifles website (https://arrowheadrifles.com/) is a great resource. They have information on their Arrowhead Obsidian Smokeless Muzzleloader, including specs and how it works. They also sell reloading supplies and other SML parts.
