I have been full forming Fury 300 gr 0.458 bullets for my 45 SML. My stash of bullets of these bullets is getting low. I'd like to hear what 0.458 bullets members are using and really interested where they can be purchased.

The .458 bullets I have shot are not currently available anywhere as far as I can tell but MidwayUSA currently has blem .458 325gr FTXs for sale. I have those but have not shot them in my 45 SMLs but will this spring.

I may have to use my stash of Remington JHPs that are earmarked for the 10ML II with sabots if I want to use the 45.

I made a knurling tool (pretty much red-neck but works) that gets .451,.452 bullets up to .458, then full form, if that is any help.

At first I did, but it doesn't seem to matter much in accuracy. I have some discontinued all copper boat tail bullets that wads actually hurt accuracy.

I bought them in Canada from raynershine gun works and x reload.
I’ve pushed them hard and not so hard. Did not seem to matter for accuracy as in under 1 inch at 100.
At first I though I had to anneal them which was not needed. I use Lyman stick lube, one ring at start of .458 diameter and they go through FF die reasonably well.
Whitetail load is either 2450 or 2740 fps.
I’ve only ever recovered one.
