Ok got my die to smooth forum the barrel is a 45 cal brux heavy contore on savage model 10 action with 209 ignition system , I relize every barrel is different , I ran couple of 245 gr soft hordany .452 I sized them down to 450 and they feel snug starting did not run all the way down , the next one was 449.5 what are you guys running again |I understand every barrel is different just looking for referance of size. Also do you guys size just what you need for the day of shooting or do you do the hole box ?. I understand about spring back when you size materail. Any suggestion for a load have reloader 7 ,H 4198 imr 4198 . thanks

Myself, I don't size bullets by diameter, but by loading force. I prefer a loading force of 10# in a clean bore. Shooting SML loading force really makes no difference in velocity or accuracy. However if shooting BH209, it will.
I use a Wagner force gauge to verify loading forces.

I have 50cal 10ML-ll and a Stevens 200 45cal I use 69gr of IMR4198. In the 45 I use a lubed wad and a TEZ .451 290gr bullet no sizing. In the 50cal I use a hornady .458 300gr in a BCR and a Win 209 primer in both.

Thanks cuda are the wads prelubed? if not what do you use to lube them

Yes the wads came prelubed I got them at Cabela's.
