Does anyone still make a smokeless barrel for the 700ml I was going to rebarrel one thinking 50 cal. since I have a great 45 cal already . thanks

Out of curiosity what’s the purpose of the rifle? Hunting, ranges, just general shooting, etc? Would a 40 suffice for what you’re doing?

McGowen did a 700ML smokeless for me this past summer. I went with a 209 ignition. I installed the bolt nose from Arrowhead then sent the action and breech plug to them.

If you go the McGowen route, I would be sure to use a rear sealing plug. I would also suggest considering going to a 40 cal if it's legal to use. I'm biased though, because I like the 40 cal...

Thanks for the info ill try them only problem is Im in Canada sending the action and bolt would probally be a big pain in the south end , up here a muzzle loader is consider a firearm .With current condition with our goverment try to ban everything under the sun it would be a bigger pain . thanks guys
