Got a brux 45 cal heavy barell Iwant to flute it any demension would be helpful depth lenght start piont from end of barell . Thanks

The general consensus as I recall from memory is that the first 5 inches from the breech remain unfluted for extra strength in case of a double load on a muzzleloader. Most of my fluting ends about 1.5 to 2 inches from the muzzle. Straight flutes are 6 in number, 10 on interrupted fluting. Depth unsure, my calipher/vernier are not available to me right now. Hope that helps some.
