Thanks i seen this also the projectile base flares outward to create the seal no plastic involved so i was thinking it would be treated as a sabots less load but not sure and of course i dont have the powder listed .

350 grain bullet with 66 grains of IMR4198 would be a very stiff recoiling load. I would reduce that considerably and only increase by small increments for your recoil tolerance or just give them back. Haha!

You will need to keep the loads very mild. The FPB is nothing more than a copper plate "mini ball" design. If pressure is too high it will blow out the skirt.

I would shoot them with Black Horn 209 in my Savage. As noted above smokeless may be too hot for these projectiles and I do not have any experience / knowledge on how low can you go with smokeless loads

When shooting a bullet that has a fragile base, thus needing to keep initial pressure low, a slower powder (2015, 3031, Varget, even VV120) might give great results. However, if the results THAT DAY at a given temperature are good; but if the results came from shooting a slower powder at a comparatively low pressure, expect extreme temperature sensitivity. For ML hunting, we want extreme temperature insensitivity. How do we get this? By using relatively temp insensitive powders in their designed working pressures. Fragile bullet designs don’t lend themselves to smokeless MLing.
