The title says it all...Arrowhead appears to be out of business, Randy Wakeman looks like he dropped them too. Savage is out of the 10ML2 businessI saw a liner advertised with a .033" hole which seems awful big to me, anybody make them with a smaller hole? Thanks guys for any replies. BOB

Cuda, you wouldn't happen to know the hole diameter for the Savage liners, I can't seem to find the diameter spec. Thanks

I think it is .030 to start and needs changed at .035 you might want to check around on that.

How much do you shoot? For $81 Luke sells the Savage breech plug with installed bushing. One poster claimed over 2000 shots through his and still going strong. Many of us no longer put up with the vent liner headaches.

Many of us no longer put up with the vent liner headaches. That is the route I took also. Of course that was after the make your on vent liner experiments. The homemade worked, but the bushing is the way to go.

Lehigh has liners , Badger Ridge has liners too . Theres still a couple guys who have them . Smoker use mainly anymore . Cuda is correct , Savage made liners start out at 030 thou . The aftermarket ones last a little longer but not by alot vs a bushing . For a smoker theyre ok but a bushing is best for durability usually . Bad bushings that wear quickly or break do happen every now & then but not typically . Who knows what future availability will be like with liners or the breech plugs themselves ?? Its already showing the effects of time kinda quickly now ...... Either way spare parts are prudent i think regardless how much its shot now or the direction you choose to go . Just sayin......
