Scopes like Leapers, NCStar and a bunch of other no name scopes are the ones you normally run from. You might get one that is assembled right and fair glass, and if you don't stress it may even last. The scopes are getting cheaper, or maybe more for your buck compared to what you got in the past. Some of the Chinese plants are even shaping up QC wise. Leapers has been dragged down pretty bad mainly due to QC and cheapness. They are trying to get some of the market share and I think they finally learned peddling junk will only last so long. The newer Leapers scopes have been getting some decent owner reviews.
Personally I would stick with a higher name brand with proven customer service. The Vortex Crossfire line appears to be one of the better economy scopes as does the newer Bushnell Trophy and Legend line.
