Nice morning at the range, no wind, temp around 70*F So far, my Apex 45-70 SML is not picky about bullets, I shot this 5 shot group off my homemade rice filled bag. I was very pleased with the results. BearCreekBallistics .451 285gr all copper ball point bullet, the bullet was smooth sized with a loose fit and knurled back up, loading pressure was light-med. Federal LRMP with brass module and .060 veggie wad Duplex load of 6gr N110 with 50gr IMR4198, 100yds, Pictures 1-5 taken after each shot, it's interesting for me that shots 1 and 2 were the same hole, 3 and 4 were the same hole, and 5 went back into shots 1 and 2

I shoot it using Bh209, full formed out of my pacnor. I live 20 miles from Bear Creek shop so I talk with him a lot. He aneals the copper and has perferations so it opens at lower speeds. I have shot it the last two years with good results on deer. They are some of the most accurate bullets I have shot. He also now has a 240 grain version. I checked the BC with my Labradar and if I did it right they were .26 for the 285 grain and .25 for the 240 grain.
