Hey guys, Its been awhile since I posted here. Ive had a lot going on since I bought those Omega 45's. Joined the NSSA and have found a new hobby with 58 caliber projectiles and holy black powder. Hope everyone is doing well and ready to slay some big bucks this fall. Regards, Smokepole50

NSSA is quite popular around here. Where YA shoot? I love finding a SA range as I'm even more degenerate about digging up those soft lead boolits (scrounging lead) and casting my own stuff. Yeah, I shoot cast in my SML 45 and 50 sabot loads. Plus have an "heirloom" from ancestor 1842 69cal Harpers Ferry smooth musket. Yeah I'm SCV and SaR eligible. Have a good time with the reenacting. Hope all good with you and yours. 10
PS, If you're interested in unloading those Omega 45s give me a PM.

I get most of my lead at the fort in Winchester, Va. My team shoots at a range in Statesville, NC. Its public but it is a rented facility. How hard do you cast your sml bullets? Years ago when I tried using swaged lead bullets with TC break away sabots I did' t have much luck with accuracy.
