1st off I don't care for the stock, it's big, beefy and just to much for ME to lug threw the woods and I don't think I care for the CC1 lug. Part of the thing I've liked about knight is 2 screws and it's out of the stock and trigger is removed. I had a extreme stock laying around and it fit just fine the lug is like the elite lug which supports the barrel with the last 1/2 of the barrel free floated. Friday and Sat I wasn't impressed there was some promise being shown but I was switching loads and adjusting the scope and just wasn't getting to where I thought the thing should be as far as accuracy. Today I was rotating between my ML II's (pac nor 45 & 50) and the knight. I have been having a little luck shooting remington 240g in a green sabot in my other knight extremes so I decided to shoot only the .430 hornady 265 FP in a green harvester sabot sitting on 100g of t7 and decide if this combo was going to shoot. I somewhere got that this bullet is made for 1600 to 2300 FPS and I figured it should do the job on a deer size critter. I set up at 100 and this thing shoots (1st 2 shots almost same hole 2"right 2" high), I would say except for the one (3" low) I forgot to push down with all my weight my average group was under 1 1/4 and most shots were under 3/4. Oh not the right forum but the savage 50 don't like these things
