In my readings on this forum I'm under the impression that a Rem ML build or Savage ML2 is able to handle higher pressures than an Encore conversion to smokeless. Is this correct? What would be the highest muzzle velocity one could expect from the Encore .45 conversion vs a Savage .45?

My personal recommendation Would be focus more on pressure than velocity. I say this40,000 in break gun properly built would be tops and with rite powder and light200 gr bullet can achieve 2500 fps.
Bolt gun 55,000 in purpose built gun with rite powder and bullet2900 fps.
These are reference numbers and need to be confirmed with builder and components.
