I've gotta gun being put together but ran into a snag with the bolt. If you had a bolt it would be the "easy button" but we'll get it sorted out easily enough. Thanks though.

Who makes/sells the muzzleloader barrels that could be used with your bolt head? Do the barrels have the same long threaded barrel tenon as the 700 ML barrels do? Or is it a shorter threaded tenon like a centerfire? Can you use this bolt on a standard centerfire action and a 700 Ultimate ML action? What thickness recoil lug is needed?
Thanks

I have one of these builds with209 bolt. It is assembled as you would a centerfire and tenon length is changed according to recoil lug used. I don't know of a prefit for this application. But o.d. machining is like700 sa centerfire. And i.d. machining is done according to breech plug used.

There are not design to be a prefit. They for the guy who wants to use a Rem 700 CF action or Rem Ultimate action with 209 primers.

Kash,
Glad to see you finally bring these bolts to market. Rest assured folks, you will find no higher quality in looks and functionality than these bolts.
Best,
Mike

Thanks Mike. It's not as easy as people think to make these is definitely been a learning curve and I can finally say I think we got them as close as perfect as they can get.

Will this bolt be the way to eliminate the modules by having a new breech plug made for the Remington 700 UML

Bolt will allow a uml to be converted to 209 but will need to rebarrel

Bolt will allow a uml to be converted to 209 but will need to rebarrel Even if you leave it as a BH-209 rifle

This will not work with the UML stock breech plug. you will have to use a 209 breech plug like Luke's

Will this bolt be the way to eliminate the modules by having a new breech plug made for the Remington 700 UML I didn't understand the question at first. I guess you could have a new breech plug made to fit the original barrel but you're gonna be in unchartered waters. I had never seen a UML breech plug out of a gun and how they seal.

Bolt will allow a uml to be converted to 209 but will need to rebarrel Even if you leave it as a BH-209 rifle There's not a replacement plug for uml for 209 primer to work with this bolt and thread into original uml chambering breech thread in barrel. Would need a custom plug.
