Will any stock inletted for a Remington 700 short action work? Just double checking. I am thinking of going with a boyds pro varmit.

Boyds ProVarmint is a good choice. Overall, it fits me better than any other I've tried. I got the blind mag bull barrel. It may have to be opened up somewhat, but that's easy enough with a dowel wrapped in sandpaper. Working with a Pro Varmint right now for my RemBrux 700ML- Short Action, Blind Mag, Bull Barrel, Apple Jack with Pachmayr recoil pad.
