I was released from the hospital today.
I had been feeling "under the weather" for several days and just put it off as old age but a few days ago the wake-up hit like a ton of bricks. Temp 104 and incoherent, rapid ambulance ride to the er and the fun began. Other than the injuries from an accident 14 years ago I am basically in pretty good health. Diagnosis....Sepsis.....WTH is sepsis. Well it is a killer and is hard to turn around once it starts. I was about midway to what they call the sepsis shock phase and was by the grace of God, lucky that the gallons of IV's and antibiotics turned things around. I still do not know how this Sepsis infection came about but I know that in the future, I'll pay attention to body functions.
Thanks guys, your prayers are appreciated
Keith, bullets, explosives all the best of the mid east and southeast asia and get took out by an infection.....argh....just ain't right :-)
