Anyone used one or have seen it in person?
For $230 it seems like it could at least be marginal for identifying those noises just before daybreak while hunting. Any thoughts?

They showed a video of the comparison between the Seek and a Therm-app and the Therm-app had a lot more clarity/definition. Of course the Therm-app was twice the price. The Seek seems a bit crude but low cost
I used a thermal sight in the Army. When we had the units that used liquid nitrogen to cool the sensor, at 100yds you could figure out a gals bra size, at 300yds you could determine male or female just by the temperature of the crotch area (males have a cooler crotch).

FYI, IMO it is not quite ready for prime time I just sent it back today. IMO, the range is not quite what you need for hunting conditions. If you know something is there then it will zero in pretty well but if you are just trying to scan for a deer it is not that great. I was not able to block out background heat signatures from foliage. It would identify hotter and colder things but I think you need to have a hot object "pop" against a black background. Deer with their winter coats do not show up as well as people, cats, dogs, horses and cows so you are just as likely to pick out a bush as a deer past 100 yards. I think if it goes through a few more upgrades I would try it again. edge.
