Anyone know where to find one or have it custom made? Countless trips to gun shops and Internet searches had resulted in nothing.

My personal favorite are talley two piece base and Talley ring . Super strong and top quality and gives more room for priming

Yes I know there's better options, but I'm in Idaho and the gun does double duty; during ML season it converts to a Western version with a SeeAll sight, then during any weapon seasons it morfs back to a scoped 209 ignition gun....absolutely love it. The rail allows me to keep the SeeAll installed all the time. My eyes are past their prime, so conventional open sights don't do it anymore. Had this set-up on a White, but just got the UL and want to do it up right.

Talley offers a peep for their bases. As far as a one piece rail, the only one ive seen was custom made. The two piece bases do have the same hole spacing as a Rem 541 rimfire but i don't know if the spacing between the bases is the same. Ive never looked to see if i could find a one piece Rem 541 base.

Those are very nice bases ...but like you said not cheap...but if you want the best or better than others you have to pay...those will last a life time...if you get them let me know how they are..i have another build I am thinking of and these look like a nice base to add to the mix... Al

al53 - I'll definitely keep you posted if (most likely I will) go the custom route. I ordered one from the link you posted just so I coul get started getting her ready for deer season. If it all mounts ok it shouldn't be a problem, but it just won't have that clean look due to the difference of the 541 action and that on the Knight. I'll load some pics as it comes together, and thanx again for the tip!!

If it takes the same bases as an MK-85 I have several sets of the Knight quick release that may work for you.

MK85 is a flat top, all other Knights are round top. Bases WONT interchange.
