To my delight I have begun seeing cucumbers form and hanging. With the amount of flowers being produced there will be a generous amount of cucumbers produced this year.  The tomatoes are also doing really well. Looks like another bumper crop this year. So far no blight seen. Did have some leaf curl but that was from the plants being stressed.  Even the potatoes are growing nicely.  With the way things are going I’m a happy gardener for sure.  Ed |

both gardens look great....you guys will have bumper crops it looks....
That mater plant is going zombie....lol....
Ed the taters look great,,,and the squash ....and nice start on the fruits on the tomatoes...
The Neptune fertilizer is real good....best part is the taste of the veggies since its organic and no mineral salt retaining in the fruits...
great job on both gardens....

Boy your garden is looking healthy.
Your pepper plants are way ahead of mine.
Love your tall tomato plant. Mine might get a foot or two taller as this has been a cool starting summer but not near the height or fullness as yours.
When the time comes enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Today I was amazed and pleased with the garden maturing for a number of reasons. The tomatoes are really coming along nicely.  The Butter Nut Squash is now on the move spreading its vines.  What is really impressing me is the number of runners of the lone strawberry plant. It really wants to capture the surrounding ground to establish itself.  Boy I’m now becoming anxious to bite into my first fresh garden tomato. I know, I got to wait a little longer. Ed |

ed &you gardening guy's-really appreciate your info & post lately-just not much time to participate.
here our farmfields are a disaster along with our gardens--too much rain like 5 weeks pretty much solid.

Thank you for those kind and encouraging words.
Sorry to hear of the damaging weather conditions you are experiencing.
In my location it has been the lack of rain to some degree. The plants are getting some of the needed water from the rain barrels that have collected rain water. Helps save on the water bill, chuckle.
I have found that a garden does need care to reach its potential so some extra work is involved. While working in the garden I also find it a stress reliever and when results are seen from my efforts I feel satisfaction.
Another friend of mine the other day said he had some pepper plants for me to plant if I wanted them. I said okay and when he brought them I was a little taken back at what I saw. The plants were called “California Wonder” and it was a wonder they were alive. They were in such poor shape I didn’t know if it was worthwhile to try and save them. After giving it some thought I decided to put them into the ground to give them a fighting chance to survive. Now it’s a waiting game to find out if I made the right decision.
