Hi guys. I thought I would introduce myself. I have had a Savage ML2 for a few years now and love it! It's never been a tack driver but a consistent kill gun. Anyway love the gun hate the plastic stock. I was searching around reading about possibly finishing a Richards microfit gun stock and found this site... been reading ever since, there is an amazing resource of knowledge here. I've read things I didn't even know you could do with smoke poles. There are some beautiful guns and skilled craftsman here. My skill, experience, and tools are limited but any wood stock I'm able to fit to my Savage wouldn't have to be perfect for me to be proud of it. Just looking for a start and maybe a few tips in the right direction. Thanks guys, Jim

Welcome!! Glad you found the site. There are a number of after market stocks for your Savage. Be sure to determine which gun you have. There are two different sizes. I would start by checking with Luke at Arrowhead Sports.

There are two styles ( small shank and large shank )and the bolt measurements are different. Call Luke Horak ( Arrowhead Sporting Goods, LLC - 319-558-8621)He can tell you which one you will need.
