:)guy's i'm not much of a bp guy but my buddy bought this gun 2 sessions ago and shot it the first session with pyro pellets and did not clean the bore for months .he called me one day and told me the gun was ruined and he was going to throw it away.i said i'll take it.got it home and scrubbed and scubbed for hours and the bore still looks bad but i said what the heck let me try and shoot it.it shoot real well with 250gr sst's but it was a filthy mess in the action area.so i decided to do one of my large rifle primer conversions to take care of that and it did zero blow back.next up was to shoot my favorite bullet the 195bx to see if it would shoot and boy was i surprized.the load was 130grs of bh and timed a tad under 2300fps. i even shot a 300yrd group that was 8"s but it was all horizontal and 2 were within 3"s.my thought on this gun is if the lock time was faster and the trigger was lighter i could cut that group almost in half.in a nut shell it is still a very capable 200yrd + gun and it was free .

Did your buddy decide to buy your .45 and avoid the cleaning jobs? I know that you don't hold on to those very long. ;D ;D
Sometimes shooting a nasty bore can do a better job then all that scrubbing...as long as it's not "obstructed" of course.

Great shooting! Coupled with a nice story on how it came to be. Just love this stuff! Have a great day! Dave
