What are you all finding land to land is for mgm 1-14 twist .458 barrel. Are they .450 or .451 ? I understand barrels maybe little different but is there a direct fit bullet sabotless? Thanks

Thanks I'm taking a break and saw your question, not do anything I took the opportunity to call MGM and spoke with one the chambering techs, Don and he states the 1-14 twist .458 barrels are .450. He didn't have a bullet recommendation and advised using an adjustable die. Imagine that

Bestill: I have a .45 McGowen I have not yet shot but hope to this weekend. I do not know the twist. I bought the barrel new but unused. I do know that the 290 TEZ will go down a clean bore with no adjustments. I do not know how it will be after it is fouled. This may help a little or not at all.

Sorry, I thought the initials used meant to indicate McGowen vs say PacNor. My posting will have no use for you whatsoever. Sorry about my confusion.
