Does anyone have a idea for me to try for premeasured powder containers for the range. I've been taking my digital scale to the range with me and it's more of a pain. Worked to narrow down optimal load but now I want to load a few containers and roll. Any tips would be great.

Blood vials!! I'm liking it. I'll have look into those. My wife's a nurse so maybe she can hook me up.
I'm looking to just store powder in the container no bullets.

I use the old Butler Creek snap cap black powder speed loaders and also 7mag and 300 mag brass with an ear plug in the neck. Load up however many pieces and put in a ziplock bag with grain info marked and good to go. Plus brass is great for hunting because it is a natural funnel, and if you duplex, you can tape a 223 brass opposite to the main brass and use small size for booster and large for primary powders. Works pretty slick. Good luck.

You know those tubes with the soap in them that are at some weddings to blow bubbles. They have a stick on the plug with a hole in it . Find them at crafty type shops for showers and weddings. They hold 75 gr 4198 if you find the bigger ones or 65 gr. if they are the smaller ones. Got like a hundred for about 15 dollars.

Hunter was using the wedding bubble tubes at the fall shoot. You can pick them up local at some Walmarts and places like Hobby Lobby or JoAnne Fabrics for $10 or less for 36. Their are like 1/2" diameter so they are easy to pour from. Clean them out good and then wipe the inside with a fabric softener dryer sheet to kill the static cling. Some of the tops may seem a bit girly with hearts and such (not that I'm afraid to get in touch with my femine side, IF I HAD ONE).
I've used 30-06 cases for years.
The vials with the screw on top are probly better for long term.

I use the same ones 45omega. I got them with green, white and red tops so I can take up to three different loads with me to the range.

I forgot to mention the tubes work great for holding bullets and primers also. I use a long Lanes Tube to hold 3 bullets and fill a short tube up with primers. A long tube will hold three 275 BE's with a wad between each bullet. He's easy to work with if you want to add a couple long tubes to a short tube order.

I use the ones from Luke I use 69gr or 70gr of IMR4198. And there is more room for more powder too. And I use his small vials I am not sure what his larger ones will hold.

I use 270 brass with automotive vacuum caps on them. I find them easier to pour into the barrel without spilling. For a duplex, I attach 223 brass to the 270 brass with heat shrink in the opposite direction.

I use blackhorn 209 vials. Kind of expensive but I had them left over from when I was shooting BH. They fit perfectly in the crown of my Pacnor barrel.

bowhunter: Interesting about the BH vials, I had never heard that before. Also interesting antler floor display and that wall outlet.

Rambler: yes, they are not cheap. It was one of those purchases where you scratch your head and ask yourself wether it was really worth it lol. At the time it seemed great. But now that I know better I will not be purchasing them again. I'll more than likely buy the vials from craft stores.
