its my bother in laws gun, thus the nickname Bro pacnored 700 ML with the black ice treatment and an HS stock and it shoots too I fired the first three and he fired the last two, not a bad group for two different shooters.. overall a nice rig..

24" pacnor 22 twist 1.200 for 3.25 front of lug, straight taper to .800. I have transitioned to shorter barrels in recent years and this profile is my favorite for the SML gun, not extremely heavy and not too light and what I believe to be a substantial enough shank for protection against mishaps..
the long barrels are fine but tend to balance front heavy and are a little long to be woods friendly, the 24" is long enough to get good velocity and short enough to be handy for whatever one wants to use it for..
My brother in law is a fine gent and I was glad to build it for him, the smile on his face when he held it and then added to the group was all worth the labor I put in it..

When you say 24" are you measuring from just in front of the lug to the end?
