I'm trying to decide what to do with the tip. To me it needs something. Rounded over or cut off on a slant like byods. Any suggestions or comments? Sorry about the crappy iPad picture.

I prefer rounding the tip. I think the more of the tip you can leave the more it stands out.

When cut at a slant where it forms a "V" with the barrel, it looks nice but dents easily. It also can catch brush and saplings if you stalk hunt at all.

IMO you made a good choice, I'm sure it's gonna be a great looking stock when finished!

Love the stock! Did you build from scratch or start with a base and shape yourself?

I'm betting it is from Richards Microfit.
