I'm posting this up, with permission, for "Hayman" who is experiencing technical difficulties.... Hayman's 14 year old son, aptly named Hunter, tagged this Henry County, TN giant during our opening weekend of Tennessee's muzzleloader season. It's an absolute hoss of a buck, an 11 pointer, with a double main beam. Shot was 187 yards, range-finder verified. The gun was a Remi/Mcgowen HillBill Special that Hunter got for Christmas last year, this was his first kill with it. The "magical" load was 62 gr of H4198, Barnes 195, and the HLB sabot. It is accurate, reliable, and deadly.

Way to go Hunter, awesome buck! You are well-equipped with a HillBill gun but it still requires you to do your part, congrats to you.

Thanks everyone for the comments and special thanks to Howa for posting this for us. The deer weighed 191 lbs field dressed. We took him to the taxidermist the next day going to put him in full sneak with a right turn. This will be head #18 hanging in our house. Yes we do have a very understanding wife and mother....
