Well, same story different wkend. In between softball games I was able to get my youngest out. We sat in the same spot her sister shot her deer a couple wks before. After having a doe nearly climb in the blind with us, they started coming out a little earlier than normal. It was about 20min to sunset with about 10 does in the field when this guy stepped out. Of course he came out from the opposite side of the field. We moved around and got set up to shoot. Buck fever hit pretty bad but she was able to fight it off. He gave us a broadside shot at 90yds. She squeezed it off just like I told her and he dropped in his tracks. The hug I got after he fell was worth more than all the big deer I have ever shot. It's been a great season so far. Now the girls are done with softball and it's dad's turn to go. My son is still on the DL from a car wreck he was in back in Aug so no bow hunting for him. Sounds like he should be healed enough for gun season in Dec. Can't wait but mean while I get some alone time in a tree.

Awesome! A great shot too. I hope those girls hit softballs as good as they hit deer. What's with the cheek camo?

A little higher would have made great eye black. They hit pretty good and this ones my pitcher too. Funny, she was more nervous shooting the deer than she was pitching at 10UB state championships this year. And yes, they did win state. That was pretty special too!!!!!
