It's in her right hand, the one on top, hard to see from the angle but looks to be a skinning blade with curved cutting surface. Oh, and nicely done by all

Got it, the lighting makes it look too fat to be a blade, had to blow the picture up to see the detail...thanks.

I gotta ask. Why is the daughter doing the processing? She love animal dissection or did she lose a bet? Don't get me wrong, I think it's great, just curious

I gotta ask. Why is the daughter doing the processing? She love animal dissection or did she lose a bet? Don't get me wrong, I think it's great, just curious She is just hungry. No she is in first year of nursing school and said she should get used to blood and stuff. Liz skinned and deboned all the meat. I am as proud of her as I am of James. I could not be happier. I have tried to get her to hunt, but she will not. Even offered to got her a ml, but no go. I was looking for a good reason to get another ml.

No he's not. He's tuff as nails. He has two sisters that are 12 and 14 years older, and baby boy is just his nickname around the house.

Thanks guys for all the kind remarks. This has been this best hunting season for me ever, and it just got started. James got 1 doe with my savage pacnor 45 last year, but its just to heavy and long. After talking to carlos at the local gun shop he sugested getting an apex. He was spot on.

I have seen James shoot several 3 shot 1 inch groups at 100 yards with this apex using 34 grains 4759 and a 200 sst. Anything over 4 or 5 he gits the flinches. I have a standing bet to shoot against him with some of my buds that shoot smoke poles, but they havent taken us up on the bet. These apexes will flat out shoot. Sabotless also 10 grains 4759 and 50 grains 4198 h or imr 1 inch groups at 100 with 250 grain barnes

By the way James has been shooting a scoped 22 for about 2 years. Not his first trigger pull

I would never have pegged her as old enough to be in nursing school. If that runs in the family, James is gonna be called baby for a looong time
