I have two B & C Leupold's, one Varmint Hunter Leupold. Perfectly satisfied with all of them.

New edition of American Hunter (July edition) just arrived yesterday, and has a nice article comparing seven brands of BDC scopes. Adds info on how they do and don't work. I think I will get one to scope my new 7mm mag. Does not help me underestand how it will work with ML II. if anyone has experience with 300 grain BO and one of these I would like to hear about it. Harley, is your experience with a Muzzeloader?

Harley, is your experience with a Muzzeloader? You might want to pm rifleman. He shoots the BO & 60G N120 and he had a Zeiss 3.5-10x44 with the Rapid Z 800 reticle.

northny, sorry, I haven't checked this thread in awhile. No, I don't have one of these scopes on my ML. Basically, the B&C can be calibrated to work with rifles having one of three ranges of MV. It doesn't make any difference whether the rifle is CF or ML. Just the muzzle velocity, and to a degree, the B.C. of the bullet. You can also use any multi-crosshair reticle on ANY rifle if you have access to a ballistics program. I explained how I did that in a thread, "Long Range with the .45", on the old Board. You can search for it, or I'll try to find it and do a follow-up link to it. Harley dougva.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Savage&thread=10920&page=1
