Hi vel x-bows req a tgt that is different than normal bow tgts. Even "The Block" wasn't adequate for my Parker Saf Mag. Bolt fletching is often ruined with hi per x-bow shooting. Some answers I have found are:1) Shoot 22" bolts instead of 20" bolts, 2) The "Elite Block" for arrows over 400'/sec works fairly well, 3) Minimize shooting <40 yds, 4) Use the bluntest field points available, 5) Use a split rubber arrow puller. Even though "The Elite Block" is the best I've found so far, some sort of "Eternity Tgt" should work better for fielt points. To minimize broadhead practice shooting, I plan to shoot an expandible broadhead such as the "Rage" two blade. The usage of such a low steering braodhead allows the use of smaller fletching, ie less drag/flatter trajectory.
