I wonder if this is what's to come. Most every where I check, nobody has any. And the stores in my area don't know when they'll get any. Need small pistol regular and magnum.

I went on line looking around for some earlier. I checked midway, powder valley inc, and two local stores before I found any.
I got the last brick of winchester large rifle primers from the second store, they charged me an outrageous price for them, but I guess it all comes down to supply and demand.
I guess I am starting to turn into one of the conspiracy theorists of the world because somehow I know Obama, Biden, and the princess b*tch are behind this.

It seems as if primers, bullets, powders etc. are all in short supply. Gun shows, WalMarts, gun shops all seem in the same boat. My local gun shop has limited buyers to two boxes of cartridges now. I do not know if there are military orders being filled or we are all stocking up just to be safe. It seems the prices are higher to as mentioned.

Yes, I hope the local store gets some in soon, I hate to order from cabelas or mid-way usa and pay the haz-mat fee. But if push comes to shove...

You don't have to worry about paying the hazmat fee for primers from cabela's or midwayusa because neither have primers.

Everything related to shooting is in short supply. I read that the DOD canceled the sells of used brass, going to melt it down and sell to china.Brass is allready twice as much as it was.Just think how much its going to be the shorter supply gets. Our government sure takes care of us. Was at the gun shop tuesday and 5 people came in hunting primers, with no luck there either.

Yes, it seem nobody has small pistol primers in stock, plenty of shotgun and rifle , some large pistol they have.. The reason a guy give me in a store yesterday is the ammo makers are using everything for making ammo, (more profit) handgun ammo is scarce around here.

I know this sounds like a broken record but has anyone found any source for large rifle primers yet?

Looks like some primers are hitting the market. I just bought 500 (500 hundred limit) of CCI Large rifle benchrest ($5.99/100...YIKES) and 500 Win Large Rifle ($3.99/100). I found them here in Ohio at a local gun shop. They have been out for months. Looks like I can now get some 243, and 308 rounds loaded up!

I got on Cabela's waiting list for primers nearly two months ago. Two cartons of Rem 9 1/2's arrived this week. Still waiting on a carton of CCI small rifle mags. At least now I can load up plenty rounds for the .22-250, .25-06, and experiment a few lighter loads with the 7mm WSM. ;D ;D
