Not bad for a state lands,general season Pre rut deer. 89 yards 243 ,85 gr Speer,DRT!!! 28 " wide and 18" tall.
When it was all loaded in the truck he checked the GPS.8 miles in all, trip out ,hunting ,walk back for the cart ,and the haul out.
My boy is an animal... There is a reason I have never taken a deer of this quality, just not willing to put in that kind of effort.
He is trading the cape for part off an euro mount and a connection to sell our coyote hides this winter. The 'dermist said just off the top of his head it will run 180 and ,probably more, Hummm cool. Congrats to my boy!!! I wish I could say he take after me,you know a chip off the OLD block. :gr: :gr:

Tell your son fine job!!!!!!!
Funny thing is that a lot of people seem think that you need a magnum caliber with 26 inch barrel and a 20x scope with 56mm reticle to get that sort of job done.

That's awesome. Wished you were a little closer. I could treat ya a little better on the euro mount. Again, great job.
