With the changes in the Archery regs here in IN for this year, I picked up a SZ350 about 3 weeks ago. I've been VERY pleased with it so far. The factory bolts that came with it were only so so. After some research, I learned that there's a trick to building a good carbon arrow/bolt, especially for faster bows. After building a few of my own, I am once again the week link in the accuracy equation. This thing is relatively small, light weight, fast, and accurate! Lots of bang for the buck. Now, hopefully I can get a lot of buck for my bang, or at least for my THWAP!

I got a SZ 380 just after they came out. Now have appx 700 shots thru it: no problems, string still like new. Best FOC for long range work seems to be 18-20(if shooting >60 yds) or at least 15 if shooting not past 60 yds. I use Red Hot arrows and 175g X-bow Tricks and sometimes (170g) FOCs. A needed procedure for the 380 is very frequent waxing of string and lubing of rail to get long string life. I do this every or every other shot. Scope recommendations: either the Hawke xB-30 or, I use the HHA Optimizer with the WCE 1.5x4.5. Earlier(maybe still) models of the 350 didn't have the string stops that are on the 380s: these greatly quieten the x-bow. Wyvern Creations have these available. The 380 is considered by many to be the quietest and most accurate x-bow available except for the 350 which is even quieter and possibly even more accurate. You did well!
