IMHO these tubes are the best either in the field or at the range, I have 100's of screw top tubes. The big advantage with these are you dump the tube inside the bore, its fast and you can't spill any powder, I bought them from Brownell's [tubes are 18 inch long,] so you can cut them to and size them, Brownell also sell's the caps

Don't know if they are the same material that is used to hold BP substitute pellets, but if they are, watch and see if they somehow leach out something from the powder. I stored some smokeless in them and after a month or so the outside of the tube had an oily residue. SP

Ive been using them for at least 5 years no problem.
I have tubes with book loads in them, that means they are over 5 years old just checked perfect.

bigmoose, Mine were left over from the WhiteHots pellets. They must be made from some other material. Oddly enough the powder was dry on the inside. The ones I had made me nervous with that oily residue. They all went to the burn pile for a little excitement. ;D
