Tried some 250FTX looking for an accurate 250 class bullet to shoot with N110. First two targets looked great. Shot at 90 yards then 170 yards. Thought I had something. Ran out of Fed 209A primers and switched to CCI 209M and groups opened up. Tried some Win 209 with my hunting load (300 BO) and groups were normal so nothing was up with the gun. On 3/20 got some Fed209A (my usual primer) and shot the 250FTX with N110. Never got the good group again. Don’t know why. Anyone got any ideas? I also noted that the first shot after switching between N110 and N120 was way out of group. Anybody else get this? I don’t swab or clean the gun, it shoots better this way. I might try swabbing but in the past that has always made my groups larger. Any idea why your velocity jumped approximately 75fps? Differences in temps from session to session? Checked vent?

Sorry Dave The velocities on target #1 are wrong – I screwed up the right ones are above now.
I checked the vent before and after with pin gauges. .033"
