I had a mishap and broke the safety off of my 700ml trigger assembly (soon to be a 45 smokeless) and was wondering if anyone had a used one they could sell me? Thanks.

Nula and Rifle basics sell safeties for the 700 trigger. The Nula version is a three position that lets you remove the bolt while the safety is on. Both are available from Brownells for less than $40.

I just need the safety, trigger is ok and adjusted plenty good for my liking. I don't want to have to spend the $ on a whole trigger or replacement safety if I don't have to. (single income family, w/toddler, need I say more?) Thanks.

deadeer,
I had the same problem with my stainless steel trigger. I bought a 700 ml and was dismantling it to find out the trigger saftey was cracked and when I tested it it broke off the rest of the way. I searched ebay, gunbroker and many more, but could not find just the saftey lever except for one of the $40.00 dollar ones mentioned in a previous post.
What I did was sell my trigger on gunbroker with the entire trigger and parts that hold the saftey on, and I got 21 dollars for it. I then watched on gunbroker as there is a gentleman who sells full new triggers that he takes off new gun and list them for $35.00 they usually sell for around 40 to 45 dollars. This was the least expensive way I could find to get a fully setup working trigger from where you are at with yours.
Hope this helps,

People on this board have helped me out beyond belief with a BIG shout out to Greg(fishhawk), so I'm going to pass it along.
PM me your address and I'll get you a whole trigger assembly out in the mail this week. If you just need the safety, take it off and keep the rest as a spare.
Don
