Spent most of my day trying to get this half crazy cow loaded on a trailer. Ended up just shooting her, and taking her in dead. Anyway, bowfisher told me if I got the Cu Assassin sighted in, to try her out on some deer. Since this stupid thing ruined my evening deer hunt, I decided it would be the first test subject. It was a tough shot. Only because the stupid thing is extremely skittish and wouldn't give me a side shot. Plus, I did want any collateral damage with 3 other steers milling about. Distance was all of 10 yards. Entrance hole is right below the ear. The Bx did not exit. It was a bang flop. Pic of the gun for those that haven't seen it

Nice shot Luke. I'll bet that will make some fine venison.

Sound like a lot of good eating to me. Do you age it? Good hair test.

They usually hang them 10-14 days at the locker. I don't know about a mount! But I'm definitely going to savor the t-bones cooked on my green egg!

Dang Luke! I bet that if you have kids, they do what they're told without having to repeat yourself.

This is why I enjoy being a part of this board! Kinda like home! Now if I just had a gun years ago in the milk house, hmmmmmm........

How do you like the green egg? They look great just to expensive for as little as I would use it. !0 to 14 days sounds like some great eating I envy you.

And I thought I had an itchy trigger finger.
By my guess, about 10 deer = 1 cow. Yup it put some serious meat on the table.

I was a little hesitant because of the cost, but found a used like new with a bunch of accessories for $600, and I'm not regretting it at all. Marinated deer loin slow cooked on it is INCREDIBLE.
