Finally got a chance to try it out tonight. No pics as it was starting to rain quite well. 180 or so lbs Nice buck for the freezer. just appeared out of nowhere..They are pretty jumpy here at the end of second season. Hit him behind the left shoulder a little high..came out the right side back a little he was quartering a little toward me. 57 gr H4198 and a 200gr sst. Made an exit hole you could about put a pop can through... Meat for the freezer... And now I can name my rifle. I shall call it "ShowTime"...seems fitting. thanks for letting me babble ;D Drop

12point, would you please share with me the information concerning obtaining a PacNor barrel for youe Encore. Please include cost, and wait time.
I own a first run Encore and have desided to get a after market smokeless barrel for it and would like to consider all options.
Thanks,
Arthur.

I worry and try to build 200 300 yd guns... this guy was waaayyyy out there at 60 yds....lol I remember opening day several years ago when I had my 12g slug gun all primed for a 125 yd. shot. High end sabots, red dot, it was the cats meow. Hit my stand with high hopes, then as it got light laughed to/at myself when I realized I couldn't shoot more than 30yds in any direction
