Both practice and hunting using my Horton Dakota crossbow is from an open window to an area that is rather steeply slopped from right to left. Until recently, I had not been able to shoot good groups which limited my effective range considerably. I then started shooting it from a range master rest that has a level bubble. It is surprising how the slope makes leveling the limbs by eye near impossible for me. When level in the rest it appears to my eye to be tilted to the right severely. However, from the rest the bow is putting the bolts consistory in the same spot. Being in the rest probably allows me to shoot more accurately but with the scope high above the bolts I can see where canting could be a big factor. Fortunately, I can use the rest while hunting in my situation. My eyes lies to me if there is a slope. OZARK

Ben A flip-up level on the scope helps x-bow scope shooting. I shoot very long range with my x-bow(80+ yds) and need the flip-up level.
