I would like to thank the guys who mentioned the 700SA ADL Varmint stocks. I should have bought a varmint stock to begin with and saved alot of dremellin and sanding my Boyds TH laminate sporter. I picked this puppy up off Ebay and the seller was local and met me last night for delivery. Took me maybe an hour to get it floated. Gives me a reason to go back to the range and make sure it still zero'd. ;D

Is that stock very rigid? Does it have the full length aluminum bedding block? Ive seen a package deal for around $450 bucks for a model 700 308 with that stock and was thinking about pulling the barrel and putting a pacnor 45 on it, but I wasn't sure if it was going to need a new stock also. I like the looks of it.

No aluminum bedding block. The action fits nice and snug in it. By talking with the seller it came off a stock .308 ADL that he had rebarrelled and re-stocked.
